Nuppu Oinas writes songs born from the bruises of the heart. Her single H2O, released last spring, marked the beginning of a new musical direction in her career and entered Finland’s Top 50 chart on the very day of its release. Nuppu describes her music as “poetry girl rock” — a combination of poetic lyrics, playful use of the human voice, and a pop‑rock‑inspired production style. She composes and writes all of her songs and is also actively involved in their production.

Nuppu is currently working on her debut album, which will feature brutally honest songs about love, breakups, and the pains of life. She previously released the Herkkis EP in 2023, and the same year she was selected for YleX’s Breakthrough Artist list.

Nuppu’s live shows blend a radiant stage presence, emotional sensitivity, and deeply relatable songs. Her performances draw the audience into a story filled with pain but also comfort and hope. During her career, she has supported artists such as Käärijä at Tullikamari in Tampere in 2023 and performed at the Midsummer Festival at Allas Sea Pool the same summer.
